The Washpool is located on a remote bush creek bank. It’s a pleasant place to relax, unwind and commit to that technology detox you have always threatened yourself/partner with.

The artfully rustic interior furnishings whisk you back to a bygone era as you share a romantic getaway with not a soul in cooee. This cosy retreat features no AC power outlets, no mobile service and no internal plumbing. That said facilities do include flushing toilet, Gas BBQ, potbelly, camp shower & tank water.

Travelling 2.5 hours from Brisbane drops you into the Australian Bush with eucalyptus trees, kangaroos and maybe a possum. Some times there will be cows and calves depending on the rotation of paddocks or a horse and rider maybe. At times there are plain turkeys and emus and lots of birds.

The Washpool is a family owned and run venue, catering to functions big and small in a stunning rustic country atmosphere.
